All you kids, get off my lawn!
So I ran into a former college roommate this weekend at meeting, it’s funny how we’re unexpectedly confronted by our pasts, by our old and current selves, and what a blessing it is to get to take stock in those moments. Richard was looking good, he’s just gotten a new gig, and his wife, also a former roomate of mine, is working in technology as well. I suppose it won’t be long before the idea of working “tech” as a concept will be outdated as well. Soon we’ll all be doing whatever we do and the new tools will simply be considered a part of the day to day. I mean you never hear anyone say “I work with mechanical pencils” or “I type things rather than write them by hand.” Anyhow it was a wonderful weekend and I’m looking forward to Spring.
